Who Are We?

Why Mosaic Mind

Whether you’ve seen 10 providers before us or this is your very first time seeking care — you’re in the right place.

I’m a real person who really listens. Not just to your symptoms, but to you — your whole story, your whole self. Because I believe you are made up of millions of pieces: parts that are innate, parts that were shaped by life, parts that have been carrying too much for too long.

Every single one of those parts belongs. Every part of you is here for a reason.

Sometimes those pieces don’t need to be removed or replaced — they just need to be rearranged. Repositioned. Redirected. Given a new role. Like a mosaic, it’s not about throwing out what doesn’t seem to fit. It’s about finding where each piece belongs so the whole picture finally makes sense.

That’s what we do here, together.

Because your mind isn’t broken — it’s complex. And complexity is worth understanding, not rushing through. Here, no fraction of you gets left behind.

Meet sarah Carmine

MMS, PA-C, CAQ-Psych Psychiatric Physician Assistant

My path to psychiatry wasn’t a straight line — and honestly, I think that’s exactly what makes me better at it.

I graduated from Arcadia University in 2012 with my Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies and spent the early years of my career in the fast-paced world of emergency medicine. I worked across some of the region’s busiest hospital systems — Nazareth Hospital, St. Mary’s Medical Center, St. Francis, Easton Hospital, and Lower Bucks Hospital — and later in urgent care with Patient First. Those years taught me how to think quickly, listen carefully, and never overlook the details. They also taught me that so much of what walks through an emergency room door has an untreated mental health story underneath it.

In 2020, I made the intentional decision to transition into outpatient psychiatry and neurology. And when I found psychiatry — or maybe when it found me — I knew I was exactly where I was supposed to be. It’s where I feel most purposeful. Where I believe real, lasting change is possible. Where I get to sit with people in the hardest parts of their lives and actually help them find their way through.

I hold a Certificate of Added Qualification in Psychiatry through the AAPA and am licensed in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. But beyond credentials, what I bring to every appointment is this: I genuinely listen. Not just to your symptoms — to you. Your history, your patterns, your life, the pieces that make you who you are.

My clinical focus spans a wide range of conditions including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, personality disorders, ADHD, PMDD, perimenopause, and burnout. I take a whole-person approach to care — which means we look at everything, ask the questions others might skip, and build a plan that actually fits your life.

I’m not here to see a fraction of you. I’m here to see all of you.

now Meet sarah

Mom, wife, friend, animal hoarder

Because you should know who you’re actually walking in to see.

Outside of the office I am, first and foremost, a mom. I have two young daughters who have completely redefined what I thought I knew about love. They are my whole world — loud, wonderful, and the best thing I have ever done.

My husband is an engineer, which means we spend a fair amount of time nodding politely at each other’s work stories without fully understanding a word. Somehow, against all logic, it works beautifully.

Then there are the animals. If you can call it a hobby — and I’m not entirely sure it qualifies as just a hobby at this point — animals are my people. Currently residing in our home: Cooper and Logan, our two dogs; Coach Beardie, our Bearded Dragon who takes his name very seriously; Chloe, our Holland Lop rabbit; and Timmy — a carnival fish who has, against all odds and expectation, been with us for 13 years. Timmy is frankly an inspiration.

I genuinely believe animals make everything a little better. Bad day? Get a dog. Big promotion? Get a dog. Going through something hard? Dog. Celebrating something wonderful? Also dog. This is not medical advice. But it’s also not not medical advice.

When I’m not with my family or my zoo, you’ll find me camping under the stars, taking long walks, or crafting something that may or may not turn out the way I planned. I find peace in the quiet, the simple, and the handmade.

I share all of this because I think it matters. I’m not a title behind a desk. I’m a real person — a mom, a wife, an animal advocate, a lover of good stars and slow mornings — who chose this work because I genuinely care about people. Every single one who walks through this door.
